Baptist Health, central Alabama’s largest not-for-profit healthcare system, is the umbrella organization for three hospitals, five urgent care centers, one same-day-surgery center, home health and hospice service. Specialty units at the 454-bed Baptist Medical Center South include a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Orthopedic and Cardiovascular units as well as the Center for Advanced Surgery.
